I know that it is quick. But it's only a night run. who's afraid of a little heat?
Only around 95f at 5:00 pm but will get down to around 70 by 10:30 pm
This old guy can take it. but can the truck take it?

"LOL"

I usually start out playing at fish creek in the canyons for a couple of hours. then I head across the desert towards superstition which is about 50 miles desert roads and some open desert.

I come in at hwy 78 Ocotillo wells by the airport. I then take the paved back road to fish creek. then I explore the canyons to kill time . Then I take the dirt road along the train tracks for about an hour. I head south east. After an hour or so I turn out toward the pole roads through washes and bushes about 3 hours more - ending up at superstition mountain (small rock and Some sand dunes mixed) once I am at the dune area I cruise up inside until I get turned around . then I find my way back out to the desert valley hit huff road and work my way to I-8 head back to El Cajon.

Also due to the time anyone can sleep at my house and head home Sunday.

You will need LS for most of the ride. minimum. However there is a wash or two that will get you stuck. You never know if the wash is passable by a two wheel drive or not. then the Superstition mt will require a 4x4 I had to pull the jeep out and a couple of places I went he wouldn't go.

So no, you will get stuck but not for the first three hours of the drive. and possible we could find a way around for a 4x2 but you can not make the dune climb. you will need a 4x4
