Default 18 or 20 inch wheels????

I can't decide between 18's or 20's. I'm putting on a 6" BDS lift with 35's soon and I cant decide if 18's will look good. I want 18's because I can put them on now while I save for the lift, but If they wont look good I'll wait and go with 20's. What do ya'll think? Post pics if you have a 6" with 35's and tell me how you like your wheels.

there is a lot of good stuff in this thread, its not just 18/20's on 35's but definetly a common size

Which everyone you go with you won't go wrong. I heard some people saying that a 20 rides rougher than an 18 because it has less sidewall. Also with an 18 tires will be alot cheaper than 20's I'm talking close to $100 a tire. My friend just got some 35's on 18's and it looks good. I have 20's on mine I kinda with they were 18's for price. But overall you can't go wrong with either you'll be happy with both.

6 inch lift and 35s? I'd go 20 inch for sure.

Ok cool. Does anyone know the offset and back spacing I need to run for this particular set up? Bds calls for 17x9 4-5/8 bs but I've seen ppl with both 18 and 20 inch rims

I like the look of 18s better. Lowered old cop cars have huge rims, not lifted trucks. 18s with a -12 to -24ish offset depending on the look you like would look and fit good. 18s ride smoother. I dropped from 20s to 18s for a few reasons. Like the looks better, smoother ride, and it was cheaper for me to buy new wheels AND a set of tires AND another set in the future than for me to have the 20s that were on my truck, and buying 2 sets of tires for 20s.

Sweet. I ordered 18" RBP 94r's black with chrome inserts. To me ride quality is the most important. They should be in next week sometime!!!

I heard i heard i heard.. Biggest form of failure... Most high end f150's come with 20's... 18's are fine to... Rough riding vehicles with 20" rims due to less sidewall is bullsh*.... Been doing it since 07...
