my 2005 f150 xlt (5.4) 4x4 has straight pipes from the cats back and a true flo intake and my best time was a 16.5. i also have bad reaction times cuz ive never really raced before but its a heavy *** truck so thats why the times aint that good.

I think my L6 could break into the 22 second zone, with some serious work. :-)

i have 08 4.6 with a s&b cold air intake and 2'' lower in rear.. i ran a 16.8 at 85 mph... not bad, but will be going faster soon, ordered 4:10 gears, and limited slip differential, hopeing to possibly drop a second... maybe more after the edge evo programmer.

wow would have thought the time difference between the 4.6 and 5.4 would have been bigger. Do they weigh about the same? how much does the 4.6 put out stock?

For some reason the 5.4 looses almost 100hp once it gets to the wheels. The 4.6 stock is 245 I believe whereas the 5.4 is 300. I also remember reading that the 4.6 is about 190whp and the 5.4 is 208-215whp.

Ouch, that would **** me off. A few mods and the 4.6 could probably get more to the wheel than the 5.4 and get better mpg's.
