Guess I would just like to fix it, the way it is supposed to work. I wonder, does anyone have the actual voltages that are present on the connector that connects to the circuit board in the actuator black box? If I knew what was supposed to be present, I could isolate if it is the actuator or something somewhere else. am suspecting it is something on the actuator board (solenoid, part, etc) or the wiring in the actuator harness, maybe a wire break where it is pinched.

Default Won't shift from park very well. New to forum.

Hello all,

I have a 2008 f150 lariat. All has been good with it, until last transmission fluid change. I've read other posts and mine seem just a little different. Shifting from park to drive does not work very well, it seems like it is not locking in place right away. If I give the truck gas it takes awhile to engage then it jerks forward and then is fine through all the gears until I go back into park and drive.. If I go to 1st or 2nd gear first then to drive it works without the jerk forward. Hoping transmission is not going out.. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Are you sure the fluid level is correct? Fluid type used?
