Default 08 F150 Issues Please Help

Whats going on guys I have a 08 F150 Limited.

For a long time now I've noticed that the truck is under part throttle is jerking almost kind of like sputtering. Once you lift off the gas and give it more throttle again more then before it stops. Truck has never thrown a code but it happens often. Can I please get some help from you guys.

Second issue is I replaced the alternator not too long after I bought the truck. I put one in from Advanced auto parts. Next thing I know the check recharge system light comes on. Doesn't stay on long then goes off. I had the dealership check every thing they don't know what it is. I don't know whats going on.

Thanks in advance for the help.

How many miles? What kind of maintenance has been done?

Plugs? Fuel filter? You need to check your FPDM under the spare tire they get corroded and cause all kinds of random issues

Ive owned the truck for 2 years never put plugs in it.
Never did a fuel filter.
Just routine oil changes. I guess those are so good starting points. What does FPDM stand for?

Definitely sounds like tune-up time. Plugs, COPS, fuel filter, FPDM check, maybe throttle body cleaning as well. I hope that's not 119k on factory fuel filter though. As far as Alternator, I would try OEM. Have known a few people with issues with Reman alternators (assuming it's reman) from big box auto stores. There's a lot of good threads and plenty of high-speed people on here who know their stuff.

Now we got to find your motor build date to ensure you have the re-designed heads.. check for a sticker on your valve cover with the motor build date or see if you can tell the color of the COP boot's Black or Brown... the boot is what connects the COP to the plug..
