Bummer. You are at 76K so it may not be too bad. Use break free and take your time. You can usually find the Lisle tool in the buy sell trade section. And you can sell it once you use it.

You can rent the lisle tool from parts stores. I rented one from Autozone around here. Didn't need to use it, but you just leave a deposit, and when you return it, you get your money back.
On another note, I used this setup right here to do mine, on a hot engine, with not one snapping off. It gets on all 8 of the plugs.

Awesome! Thanks! Gonna look around for a decent deal on the plugs and boots and try to get this job done.

Default Read the ford TSB on plug change out

Some carb cleaner in there and just break loose 1/8 turn and let her soak . It will try and melt carbon if it can get past the threads . Half oz per cyl should help . after she soaks for a while I would try another 1/8 and so on .

Default It will cure your misfire

But your mileage for jacked up 35's is still going to kill your mi/gal when pulling trailer imho .
When I had my 454 corvette the man told me if I was concerned about mi /gal Then I couldn't afford the car . I got the message .

Oh, I knew my mileage would suck after I did the lift and tires last month but it has been around 11.5 mpg which is pretty normal for this truck. I have never seen it go down to 8 before. Plus the way the truck was bucking I had to assume there was an issue. It was doing this before the lift and tires were put on last month so I knew something was going on.

Just so I would know...I called the ford service dept to get a price on plug change out from them and it looks like around $900!! I can literally buy all the tools and parts, including new COPs, for 1/2 that amount!

Yep, dealers are not fans of doing a plug changes on the 5.4's my dealers standard is $400 plus $50 per broken plug.

with only 76K miles on your motor ..you do not need new COP's... just plugs/boots and springs.
