i have a 07 4.6 with 57000 miles and im planning on doing a tune up but have heard a lot of stuff about the spark plugs breaking. Is there any issues with the 07 and if so what is the best way to avoid the problem?

I know the 04-06 5.4l are the ones that are having issues. I believe the 4.6 does not have the plugs breaking in the heads problem. There are several tricks out there to help decrease your chances of breaking any plus such as running sea foam right before, getting the engine warm, letting pb blasted soak in for and hour and using an air impactor. I would buy the lisle tool just in case one does break but if you don't use it just return it.

Search some of the threads on here and watch some YouTube videos about it. That's what I have been doing for prep before I tackle my 05 5.4v.
