Default 07 5.4 screw rough idle problems

Ok a bit of background 1st

Bought new in 07, 135,000 miles currently. Always changed oil with ford syn regularly. Replaced cam phasers, chains..etc.at 127000 miles ran fine for the 8k miles until recently. Plugs changed around 100000. Fuel module replaced last spring, mounted on the rear frame rail near the spare tire(box prone to metal rot). Just the other day it has a major loss of power, wouldn't go above 50 mph, get stranded. Burned the starter up trying to get home. At the time it had a checked engine light on due to oxygen sensors(can't remember the code it threw). While it's been down I've replaced all 4 o2 sensors, new starter, fuel filter, air filter, and spray cleaned the maf sensor. MAF didn't look dirty but at $9 a can(thanks advanced auto) I better use it.

So it starts up, idles ok but once it's put in gear there is a vibration and it still has the rough idle. Did a quick road test and it still has the loss of power and won't get itself up to 50 mph. No codes thrown yet due to the battery being disconnected while changing the starter.

Could it be???
1. fuel pump, I don't think it's this because Rock Auto sent me a flex fuel filter but my flex fuel truck took a regular 5.4 fuel filter. I had gas shooting all over my garage floor when I thought I was putting the "correct" one in. Learned the hard way that my flex fuel took a regular fuel filter.
2. cats clogged up
3. torque converter.
???????????????

Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

No luck, cleaning the throttle body didn't help at all. It almost seems worse. I hate to do this but I'm gonna drop the gas tank tomorrow and put a new fuel pump in it. Lucky me the tank is at 3/4 full. When I replaced the fuel driver module last spring, I thought my problem was the fuel pump so I ended up finding the pump only online, new shipped for $20. Beats shelling out $400 to $600 that the auto parts stores want for the whole fuel pump sending unit.

I'm might try the cop change but that's mucho $.

Has anyone and their cats clogged? Any other ideas please chime in. HEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!

doubt its your fuel pump.. but good luck with that.. i guess you don't want to troubleshoot.. you could measure your fuel pressure prior to throwing a fuel pump at it.

I would at least try and reset the PCM especially after cleaning the throttle body. Let the computer relearn everything.

Which O2 sensor codes was it throwing? Bank 1 and 2 stuck lean? If so, you have a vacuum leak and it will cause an issue just like you're describing.
