Default 05 XLT needs regear

So a couple weeks ago my OD went out. It went to the shop and they checked for a broken servo clip first but it was fine so my tranny is getting rebuilt. With 84k miles.....

I have a 3" body lift and 35" tires with 3.55 gear ratio so that is what probably contributed to the tranny issues. I am looking to regear to 4:56. I called a few shops and they quoted me labor but i need to get the parts. Can anybody recommend the correct parts needed for the regear?

It is a 4x4 so i gotta do both diffs. Besides the ring and pinion what else do i need?

You'll need master rebuild kits with that many miles on your truck. It comes with bearing and shims for the diff. Which rear end do you have? The front will be the 8.8"

That I can't comment on. I have read that a lot of the brands come from the same manufacturer.

I went with Spicer.... They make alot of driveline and axles for Ford so the OEM quality will be there. A lot of guys on here go with Yukon or USA Gear.... I don't know about the quality of those brands but I do know Spicer is as close at you can get to OEM. As far as labor goes $300-$400 per axel seems to be the standard acceptable rate.
