i did my chrome bumpers about two months ago, they have held up through car washes and mudding, no complaints, but if somthing was to scratch it all you have to do is rub it with a little thinner to level down the edges, and spray a little plastidip over it . it levels itself out and blends perfectly. and it protects your factory paint, if you ever want to go back to your paint or another color , you just peel it off like suran wrap. win win.

That looks nice and mean. Great job with the cans.
For you guys with some or little knowledge of plasti-dip, I recommend going here:
https://www.dipyourcar.com
They actually sell plasti-dip in kits specifically for automotive applications, including a "pro" kit that comes, yep, a power sprayer similar to a Wagner sprayer, for the application. The price depends on how many gallons needed for your application. They do their own r&d and provide video tutorials on new techniques and products.
Check out the videos, and spend some time in the forums, checkin out what people have done with this stuff. It's not just flat black anymore. I have yet to dip anything, but I've got a beat up Honda that willl probably see new life with this stuff, and I might possibly hit my truck with it if I can decide on a scheme I'd like ( deep wedgewood blue and silver with chrome accents on the bumpers really doesn't lend itself to the usual badge and grill blackout treatment).
There. I'm done thread jacking now. Again, your truck looks awesome, OP!
