05 f150 trans help
ok so i was given a 2005 f150 5.4l..it seems to have a trans issue any help would be appreciated...so truck has the 4r75e and is a 4x4 was rebuilt 60k ago..problem it is having is when the truck warms up trans starts to whine and it gets louder with the more rpm then it will slip in drive revers seems good yet but does go in gear slowly can let it sit few minutes and it will work again then start doing it again ..when truck is cold all the way till running temp trans is fine.so is it the torq converter or the pump doing this.or could it be a plugged trans filter.havnt droped pan yet will be doing that soon.

First step is check fluid level.
Then drop pan and take a peak

so pulled pan today there is some metal on magnet little bit of black stuff in pan not much...and shiny particles in the fluid...cant upload pics they stop at 90% for some reason...with there particles in fluid is the whinning a failing pum or just from low pressure from a clogged filter trans was rebuilt 60k ago..could the shinny stuff be from the trand breaking in and normal use...thinking of tossing a new filter in and fluid.

update the little bit of stuff on magnet and on bottom of pan has and looks the same as anti sieze wierd no signs of the friction plate matereal or chunks ...fluid did have few swirls of metalic sparkles in it but fluid was really dark...going the cheap way first...going to toss a new filter and fluid in it see what it does..

so put new filter in and fluid trans isnt whinning and shifting fine so far but i noticed a problem..when in 1st or 2nd gear it losses power when you are in drive or shift it to drive it is fine power is excellent is this normal for a 2005 or does any one have experience with this problem.
