You are losing vacuum to the wheel ends.. you can either troubleshoot with a vacuum pump or toss parts at it.. if you want to toss parts at it.. I would start with a new IWE solenoid.

Also there is an updated vacuum solenoid for the 4x4. I guess they were having issues with water getting in the vacuum lines and running down and ruining the IWE’s. The fix was to install new vacuum solenoid with a cover over it to protect it from water and replace both IWE’s. Not too expensive if you can do the work yourself.

Definitely sounds lie the vacuum solenoid to me. $20 at the dealer. Anyone can replace it...it just sits right under the back of the hood, above the firewall, on the passenger side.I didn't have to replace the IWEs. But I had already paid some idiots to replace a supposedly defective wheel bearing to the tune of $500.

Thank you guys, hoping my IWE's are'nt toast. Makes sense about the water. We have had rain for weeks now, seems to effect it.
