I'd try a new front left signal bulb. Or swap the one from the other side. If you still have the problem then I'm thinking turn signal switch.

So I think I figured it out I ended up swapping out the stock bulb sockets for the new one that didn't fit but after a little trimming I got it to fit and finally got the blinker to work so thanks guys for the help.

The rear blinkers operate independently from the front as they also serve as brake lights.

Many possible scenarios on a 05 or earlier model as the relays and flashers were not designed to accommodate LED's or other low voltage style replacements.

One possibility that is quick and easy check is.....flip the bulb over in the socket. Many bulbs will cause such an issue if installed backwards.

I see you resolved the issue. Can't see where a socket would matter unless it contains additional circuitry of some sort.

Just to know, flip that bulb over in the new socket and see if the condition returns. Or, let me know what the difference in the sockets is.

I'm always fooling with bulbs and try to stay up on any possible concerns or new styles.

I'm on my 4th LED upgrade as we speak!! Seems everytime I swap them all out, I find some I like better!!!

What kind of replacements did you go with anyway?

Glad you got it fixed.

I'll PM ya later with some details. "Top Secret" ya know lol.

You have to match the LED configuration, position, and intended dispersion/projection with the housing your installing it in.

Many think more led's is better, or one on each side ect ect, they each have an application where they perform better than others depending on how the housing and projection surfaces relate to the led configuration.

Lots of trial and error over the led evolution process has lended me an educated position on recommendations!!!
