I think it was Forest Gump that said: Stupid is as stupid does. If you have children, at least buckle them in, as they have to (unfortunately) rely on you for their safety.

Yeah I don't have children. But any child that rides with me buckles up. Adults can pick whether they want to or not in my truck.

Just curious....are seat belts not required by law in your state? In NY, it's a $100 fine.

Dude I bet 50 percent of people here doesn't wear them. Hell I see cops not wearing them. And it's legal for us to ride in the bed of a truck. How is it OK to ride in the bed of a truck with nothen to protect you, but it's not ok to not wear a seatbelt??

In Florida, any passenger that is not buckled up falls back to the driver; the driver is issued a ticket. Just a heads up for you. And the fine is much more than 10 bucks.

Yeah thanks for the heads up. I don't usually leave missouri but sometimes I go to Kansas which is like 4 miles from me. And the tickets are prety hefty over there. But what I don't understand about kansas is. You can ride a motorcycle without a helmet. But they rape you over a seatbelt.
