Think I need a new battery now because I put it on charge in the barn and after a couple hours on charge I have no spark whatsoever when I cross the posts with a wrench. So I'm hoping that I was ok replacing the fuse and the battery just picked the worst time to bit the dust. The truck doesn't get driven a lot because I normally drive my dakota to work since it gets a little better mpg than the F150. Drove the F150 last on this past Saturday when we brought home the used 24' Keystone Hornet Lite we bought.

Batteries can short out, and try to send a small amoubt of juice through the ground. That can make electronics act like there's a ghost in the system. If the security light was blinking at the same rate the clicking was, the keyless entry module was probably making the clicking. It seems to me that it's just the battery. Sometime in the future though, there might be an issue with the keyless entry. But yeah, battery.
