04 f-150 5.4l 3v problems
Hey there I just put a new engine in my 04 F150 5.4 and now my headlights and cd player are staying on, but my light switch is turned off and the keys are out. i cant get them off without pulling a fuse, its killing my battery. i have no dim lights just straight bright lights. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they fixed it. any suggestions would be nice.

so i took the headlight relay out yesterday with the headlight fuse out already and then put the headlight relay back in. i then went for a drive and shut the truck off and took the key out...to my surprise my cd player wasnt staying on, and all gauges were normal. now when i plugged the headlight fuse back in it all went back to normal with headlights staying on and cd player runnning, any ideas if its the relay or something else?

Elec issues
Sounds like you have a short or feedback occurring through that circuit. Other than trace it out, no suggestions though you could try another fuse though I don't think that's your issue.
