04 5.4 Sudden engine trouble and I need some help/advice .

True, but I'm defiantly throwing them under the bus. I've never owned anything but Chevy's. Ever! And I've never had a new one. They've always been at least 5 or 6 years old by them time I got to them. And I've never had one leave me stranded or broke down . I get a Ford and 2 months later I have a nine thousand dollar repair bill. I'm just going to do myself a favor and bring home a brand new Silverado or Sierra. Thanks for all the help gentlemen.

Dayum! So sorry to hear that! That's definitely one of those horror stories. Every makes got them though.
