I'm looking at buying a 2004 F-150 FX4 that has 148,000 miles and i have heard about the spark plugs but with this many miles i'm not to warded about them.

also i have heard about the cam phasers

so pretty much i would just like you guys to fill me in on this truck to so i can see if it is one that i want to buy

I love my 04 5.4. It has the cam phaser problems and the plugs arnt causing any troubles so I'm leaving them alone. I bought it with 1380000 miles on it and it now has 153000 on it. It had a few bugs when I bought it but I got it all straightned out now. Other than the camphaser and spark plug problems these are great trucks

what do i really need to look for in the cam phasers??
