lift is not cheap either... All about the details. When you see or use your first set they are awesome... also funny to see the truck get looks and then even more when they realise the steps just "bust out"...

Ya but when the steps cost about as much as the lift does...most people would rather not spend that kind of money on some steps unless they have money to burn.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen them and they are sweet and would love to have some.

I may consider some when I decide to drop some major coin on a brand new $40,000 F150, but for a lot of people simply putting a lift and tires on their truck (often times already paid off, or bought used for a cheaper price) is a pretty big purchase. I get what you're saying though.

Well I have a buddy that is selling his. Controller and all he is asking 500. broke a few bolts removing due to the lock tite. But he bought a different truck and has no use for them.

I was just saying that although I agree kinda pricey, they are a VERY cool mod. Just a lil surprised you dont see more of them due to the "rareness" of them.

$500 is a damn good price on those if they are in good working order. I agree the rareness adds to the cool factor for sure. While in the realm of the details...Im surprised more people don't invest into some top of the line shocks when dropping so much coin on a new suspension set up...but they don't. Because its more spendy I guess what Im trying to say is that the amp research style steps are still typically reserved for the show truck world where the details are what really count...at least until the price comes down on them quite a bit. Until then I won't even consider getting any as I view them as a luxury item...for a work, offroad, daily driver truck? nah

p.s. your quad is slow.

I agree on the posts about how expensive they are. I have steps already and don't want to spend another $1200+ on power steps that surprise people. and believe me I love technology and really would love to surprise people.

But from a functional perspective, I did buy the Amp Research Bed Step so I can more easily get in and out of my truck with the tailgate up or down. THAT is some money well spent!
