The 2 pegs on the fender emblem are near the outer edges. On the tailgate badge, there is one peg on the edge and the other in the middle. Just have to cut the middle peg off. Have to use 3M double tape anyway so it wouldnt make a difference.

Yep the new ones will fit I just watched a YouTube video... Only thing is u have to use a fender one for the tailgate as the new emblems are made for the curve of the new tailgate.. Turns out pretty sweet

Yep I've had this issue for awhile now... This app never gets updates it seems.. 😕👎

No, not what i mean. I meant using the 04-08 F150 tailgate emblem in place of the 04-08 fender emblems that designate that its a 5.4/Lariat/XLT etc.
