No, the previous owner of my (to me) new truck imported her brandnew from the US. He bought a new raptor and sold this F150 to me.
I'm the only one with a F150 in my area - and as i said damn proud of it. The most famous full-size trucks over here are dodge RAMs.
In the US the F150 is a common truck i guess. In europe it's one of the biggest vehicles rolling around shure there are some nissan, volkswagen and ford ranger pickup trucks, but their measurements aren't american at all... And none of them has a V8 engine! Most of them are powered by a 2,5 L diesel 4cylinder engine
You live in a great country!

One of the very few with a truck but almost the only one with a F150 - and damn proud of it! There are a couple of Dodge RAMs but the most of those "european trucks" rolling around here are imports, as you might know the hood of a front leveled F150 is almost as high as the top of the roof of most cars around here - so size DOES matter...
Hope you enjoyed your stay in austria. It's a beautiful country
But i hate that authority, which won't let me lift my truck for 6"...

So I have to ask, what made you want a truck (a real truck, not a Ranger or a baby Nissan)? I'd do everything possible to get one if I was forced to live in Europe, but that's cause I'm American. I'm sure I couldn't get it road legal, but I'd love to bring a diesel F250 over. Also, are the full-size trucks desirable? As in expensive for you to buy and/or do you have to fight other buyers to even get one when a used one pops up? I'm just curious about the demand and pricing.
I wonder why one of the worst trucks available here (Dodges) are the most popular haha. They're not a good representation of our trucks, from a reliability standpoint anyway.
Your English is very good by the way.

That's very cool! I was very young when I was there, but I remember a little bit. I imagine my truck would be highly illegal then, especially with the tires sticking out 4" past the fenders haha.

Well, what made me wanting a real truck... It's hard to explain but as a kid i always dreamed of riding a harley. This dream came true about ten years ago as i bought me a buell xb12s because of the V2 engine. I couldn't afford a "real" harley at that moment. Then i bought me a 86 iron head sportster and in 2009 my brandnew dyna streetbob - i rode her like hell That was how i learned to love american V-engines...
Stage two followed by dreaming of a car/truck with a v8-engine. Its very expensive to own a car with a v8-engine in a sedan or stationwagon, so i decided to get a pickup and there she was - my first f150 for 11.200 dollars with 150 k miles...
I didn't have to fight any others, because they're expensive though and the gas price is about 5,50 bucks per gallon... I'm one of the few "idiots" buying a full size truck with a 5.4 L engine! I try to buy american as much as i can because i think this is a great country and all the people from the us i learned to know where great too. With this truck i bought me my own little piece of america
Stage three will be a f250 diesel - i already started dreaming and saving... but i think that will be a really hard way.
I don't know why everyone who can afford a us-truck wants a dodge ...
