i kno. everyone says the exact sane thing. i just wish there was a way to paint them right way. i think the only way to go about it is to buy brand new bumpers that arent chrome, taking them to a shop to get painted professionally. no more rattle can garbage. im very picky with the paint not matching . my truck is hardly ever clean so i never pay attention to the chrome anyway unless i wash it. its far from a pavement princess

My preference is PTM bumpers, but chrome is much more durable than paint. If you like, or even don't mind, the chrome bumpers there's nothing wrong with that. To each his own. Either way, you have a badass truck

You can do it yourself if you are confident in your painting abilities. YOu are going to need to sand of the chrome, smooth out the surface, prime, paint, clear, wet sand, buff and polish. Takes some time but it will save you the money.

thank you. i prefer the white bumpers as long as its done right. so im stuck with chrome till i figure out either how to paint it myself, or till i can afford to drop some coin on getting it done by a pro

I got ya, I just think she'd look way better without chrome. always thought the same thing about mine till yesterday. mind you, your truck still looks great.

and in keeping with the thread.....I no longer have chrome (but for the badges) and I don't miss it.

Where in Cleveland? I live in the near east side suburb, University Heights to be specific, so I'm usually around there or downtown. Occasionally I head out to the west side though~Westlake/Avon/Avon Lake. Surprised you haven't seen me though?
