Okay so I pick up my rims today and take them to "Jim's" (not real company name) to powder coat the machined areas. I called on the phone last week to ask if they can do what I needed and how much it would be. I show up today after calling them an hour ahead of time to see if they were busy and again asked the price. I get there and the guy at the counter tells me that they can only do the entire rim, not the sections I want done.
He tells me to calls a paint and body shop. OK, so ..I have literally called every single paint and body and collision repair place with in 50 miles of me and nobody will do my rims!!! WTF??!!
So looks like I'm going to paint them myself if the weather permits.

Question for the guys with a 6" lift...did your turning radius get worse after you put on the lift? I just finished putting on a Rough Country 6" lift and I can't turn for crap now...not from rubbing, just doesn't turn as sharp. Thanks for any insight...

Don't think I've ever noticed any difference.

I just contacted Rough Country customer service and they confirmed that turning radius will be affected whenever you lift the truck. Good to know! I thought I had messed up the install somehow!

I love it EXCEPT for those spots on the cowl. Make them smaller or remove them or something...
