I went to Home Depot and they have rolls of brown paper in the painting supplies, I just used a ton of that and painters tape and left them on, all except the 9 inch oval that I painted and cleared. I had that oval from years ago that I had sanded the script down on to make the oval perfectly smooth. When I redo them in the spring, they will all be pulled off. I may even buy 2 of the tailgate F150 badges that are on the lower left and use them on the fenders. Hate the little lip that has 5.4 on it.

Yeah I do too but not sure if there are holes behind that part and or what the paint may look like behind them if there will b a mark of any type left behind from the old badge... Guess I could youtube it.. lol.... Keep us posted as I will also.

Not really anything wrong with them I just don't care for the look... Especially since I don't haul anything.... I like my little mirrors.. lol... They r there only for a purpose not a fashion statement in my opinion...

^^^ I just measured, right at 8", er, uh the tailgate and fender badges that is. So yes, no doubt that they will work.

yup, I can't see why they wouldn't fit peg wise. Only difference seems to be the bottom part on the fenders which lists trim level and/or engine depending on truck
