Has anyone found a way to alter or modify the back rest in 04-08 Screws and Scabs so it can be folded down with some degree of ease instead of removed? I can't say I've taken it apart and studied it a whole lot myself, I just didn't want to reinvent the wheel if someone else already figured this out. I'd like to keep it still legal and useable if possible

This would be really nice, like people have done with the 09-14 style. Unfortunately the way this seat back is mounted I don't think it's possible. There are clips at the bottom corners of the seat back, once released the seat pushed upward and then can fall forward. So I doubt it's easily possible

Could you maybe swap something out of a regular cab? and mod it to fit the Screw and Scab back bench?
