Default 04-08 CUTTING Billet Grille HELP!!!

I Just ordered a grille that requires cutting out of my honey comb grille. im nervous to take a hack saw or jig saw to my grille. i was wondering if anyone had pictures or anything to maybe ease my nervousness. thanks guys.
i dont wanna mess up my oem grille then have to buy another one. any friendly help will be more then appreciated.

Got a link to the grill you bought? Most grill replacements involve removing the old one from the surround and attaching the new one to it. Never heard of having to cut a grill out though.

This is the grille i bought.. and it says i have to cut out the oem honey comb on directions

I'd say to wait and see what the grill looks like when you get it. It still seems like a full replacement (how to replace grill: https://www.f150forum.com/f71/how-04...install-37670/ ) but the pictures aren't clear enough to say for sure.

i got the grille already.. its not a full replacement it says in the directions to cut of the oem honey comb and all this stuff. im thinking of just returning it and getting a full replacement.

Subscribed......I'm interested in seeing this as well, never heard of having to cut up a grille to replace it with another but I guess ya never know!

So guys I didn't have any time to take pics. I had to trailer my gfs horse to a show but I did find this. This is my kinda grille http://www.stylintrucks.com/articles...e_install.aspx

I'm not to fond on trying to cut my grille.

on my fx4, i had the H-grille, i got a honeycomb grille and got a billet grille replacment for the honeycomb. I got the one that requires to cut out the honeycomb. The reason i got that grille is because i like the inset look of the grille and my Ford Emblem wouldnt stick out, it would also be insetted in. It is not that hard to do, it just may take alittle bit of time, i just recommend just to take your time. my grille came from carriage works, and here is their instructions: http://cwgrilles.com/pdf/4410.pdf
