Why do you need a 30-40k auto loan to buy a $10,000 2009 F150? It would make no sense to spend $2-3K on a 5+ year old truck to do that unless it was wrecked to begin with. Makes much more sense to sell it and buy a 2009.
Heres a better pic, not sure if my profile pic is clear enough...but for the most part everything bolted up, I did make bolt spacers for the bumper and headlights, I didn't need to get the newer radiator support, I made it work with bolt spacers and drilling a new hole in the existing support where the 09 headlights bolt pattern located... I also had to grind down a few areas on the inner of the fenders as well as some areas on the top where the fenders bolt under the hood.. I had to grind down the bull horns on the front and I removed the tow hooks so the bumper sat where it needed to align with the upper bumper and fenders, I could send more pics and better detail explanation thru text if that's ok... it's not too convenient to go back and forth thru the forums...
That’s looks great!! Good job!!
my number 215-834-4654 glad to help anyway I can...
No, I'm sayin, instead of pouring $10K into your '06 Lariat to make it look like an '09, which if some clown runs into you and totals the truck you will have just lost that $10,000, that you could buy a 2009 XL for $8000 and spend $2-$3K on a chrome grill, chrome bumpers and mirrors, wheels, seats, carpet, Lariat badges, etc. to turn it into a Lariat.
Now if you have a personal attachment to the truck like many people have, all of what I've just said wont matter.
sorry you don’t have that talent and have to just buy it
