Are you afraid....

I've also had some issue with parts making it to me. I had some PIAAs that were supposed to be delivered and someone was home all day. The tracking showed it had been delivered....WTF?! Called USPS to see if the delivery guy scanned it early and didn't leave it or something. They tried to find it at the PO and on the truck, but no luck. So my wife and I went driving down the street and wrote down EVERY number that was similar to ours. Then started knocking and were able to recover it luckily.
Now I try to ship anything important to my wife's work. BUT that hasn't been 100% successful either. Had a Spyderco knife shipped there, and tracking said it had been delivered but never showed up. Several days later, the delivery man had it returned by the incorrect receiver thankfully.
It can definitely be frustrating! All of my problems have been with USPS though.

This happened when I ordered my iphone 5. I was so hot that day. I watched the fedex try and deliver a package to my neighbor. I was so happy that he was coming to me next, NOPE. He drove away. I went over to my neighbors and saw the not home slip on the door. I called fedex and they said it wasn't their problem. I had to drive to the fedex facility to get the phone (2 hour round trip). I filed a complaint and nothing was done.
It also was perishable. Started filing claims and after FedEx having to cover losses in the range of $10,000 in damaged goods due to misdelivery over a 14 day period the issue eventually fixed itself. We got a new FedEx delivery person.
Just make sure anything you are having delivered is on a credit card so you can have the added leverage of a credit card dispute.

My mail always gets to me, but my UPS and Fedex guys can't seem to figure out that my packages are usually pretty important. This winter I looked out my front door and saw a next day air envelope with my name on it laying on the sidewalk. I opened it to find titles for two semis I bought worth approximately $80K. Last weekend I had another envelope laying on the ground in about the same place with a check in it.

Played right into their hands. Never go anywhere to fix their mistake. I once refused to go across the street to pick up an envelope with $4000 in lab supplies that FedEx misdelivered. It was my 4th package that week they got wrong and I decided I had stone enough.

The problem with a PO box many venders as well as UPS or FEDX will not deliver to a PO box also pay pal and credit card co's will not authorize shipments to a PO box. The solution is to rent a box from a private box co. that has a actual address. Problem solved

There one other house in the neighborhood, different street, that is 3903. I had a package meant for them not too long ago so I personally delivered it and introduced myself so hopefully they would do the same if they received something of mine. I've never had an issue until I moved to this neighborhood. I would be okay if it was some junk mail or something insignificant that was miss delivered but its always my higher dollar items that someone else ends up getting.

I had a Recon Tailgate Lightbar delivered by UPS- it was snapped in half. Their claim was that it came from the warehouse that was. That's BS. Luckily Amazon accepted a return and replacement. That thing wasn't cheap.
