Still on my 6month free trial, and went through each channel, but some channels show "MyKey access denied" why would I be getting these, and how do I get into those channels? Howard Sterns is one of the channels I can't get to hear. What's the story?

Since it says " my key ", do you have the my key set up on your truck? My key would be a key you give to a person that's gonna borrow your truck and you can program it so it doesn't go over certain mph. And I think you can program it for other things. Perhaps it's not letting the programmed key to play stations with bad language??? Not sure though.. Just a guess..

I have two master keys if that's what they are called. i have not prohibited any channels, or at least not to my knowledge. I have at least 20 or so channels blocked.

Since I didn't do it, do all new trial subscriptions have the blocked channels, and how do I unblock them?

It's been my experiance that you don't get all the channels with the trial subscription. When I had the trial sub on my 2010 I didn't get all the channels that I get now with the regular subscription.

I have the trial package but stopped using it because I have a Lynx already. What irritates me most is the in dash Sirius/XM is missing so many channels as it doesn't have the 2.0 lineup. I like the integration into the Sat Nav but this is a nagging issue for me.

I installed the lynx yesterday using the ProClip no-drill mount in the right pocket beneath the 12V outlet, next to the glovebox.


You can access the MyKey setup from the gauge display. Check to see if it's enabled. That may be the source of the denial. I know you can go into the Radio menu and lock out certain channels as well. Saw it yesterday, can't remember where the hell it was.

When I dial in the following channels, I get MyKey Restricted:
Channels 40, 41, 44, 45, 46, 97, 98, 99, 100 (Howard Sterns),
101, 102, 103, 104, 108, 109, and 158.

All are blocked. I definitely know I did not block them.

My last or highest channel is 184 Preview before it rolls back to channel 0.

For those who actually bought the subscription, do you get higher channels?

I thought all the NFL games were broadcast on Sirius, yet I only found channel 88 NFL Radio. What channels are all the NFL games broadcast on?

Is this the complete menu????

It may be possible that someone test driving the vehicle before you bought it may have activated My Key to lock out stuff. I know that I fiddle with all of the buttons and usually have no idea what I am doing.

Channel 88 is the main NFL channel and games are announce there using the Dial Global feed. Hometown announces for each game are listed weekly during the season. Channels for a game change from week to week.

Sounds to me its like what others have said...a MyKey was setup by someone...dealer, test drive, etc. Too much to type what MyKey is and how its works here, look up MyKey in your owners manual.
