Default XLT Kicker upgrade for cheap

I found a 10" kicker on eBay but I can't tell if it has an amp or if it even needs one. Do any of y'all have experience with the one listed below? What's the details on the install?

I'm confused as to what the difference between this one and the $1000 fully enclosed speaker would be.

It has the amp. This is just the sub\amp. The price difference is due to alot of things. If you just want to add sub. This is the kit. Below is complete with door speaker/dsp an amp for door speakers and sub.

Have you installed anything like this? Do I have to run wired to the head unit?

Yes you do and there are very good youtube vid on how to install it. You run 2 power wires from battery to inside truck. Then unplug wire harness from head unit to supply wire harness. It's not hard at all. Just a little time consuming. If you got just sub. Then install alittle easier.

I'm not really wanting to get power from the battery. I'm curious where the factory setup gets power.
