X-plan Question
#21
Nope.
Yep.
X-Plan price is a percentage over invoice. THEN rebates and incentives are subtracted from that price. If you're eligible for X-Plan pricing, you can go to the website, enter your Partner Code, and look at the different vehicles. You will see the MSRP, X-Plan price, incentives in your area, and then the total price (which is the X-Plan and incentives subtracted from it).
I ordered my 2013 F150 Limited using the X-Plan. I was given the "worst case" price, which is just the X-Plan pricing. It's the "worst case" price, because they don't know what incentives will be available at the time of delivery, so they can't tell me what the final price will be. All I know is that it will not be higher than the X-Plan price, but it could either be what the X-Plan price is, if there's no incentives at the time of delivery, or it will be lower than the X-Plan price, if there are incentives at the time of delivery.
no it doesn't, Xplan pricing is a set % over invoice and limits the fees the dealer can charge (mine didnt even add the $100 fee they are allowed to add), applicable rebates are then off the Xplan price (some rebates cant be combined with xplan but it seems like most still apply, its when you get into a,z,d plans that they get picky). When they gave me the printout for the xplan pricing it shows the xplan price for the vehicle and each option then at the end shows applicable rebates and a final price before tax/tag/title

it may be hard to tell because rebates didnt change from order to delivery but the dealer claimed I would be eligible for the rebates at the time the order was placed...it may be one of those gray area things though

Have you already ordered? I might've been told what I was because there are currently no incentives on 2013 F150's yet, but that might change once they're actually hitting the lots.

I got my 2011 EB at x-plan price then minus the rebates.

I am building and shopping with my X Plan and the rebates are an additional amount off of the X Plan pricing. If you qualify for it its the way to go unless your dealer provides a better price.

Also, I registered on the Ford website for an F150 brochure looking for the $750 coupon I heard mention of, I was disappointed when it didnt show up before the new truck but when they ran the vincent before finalizing the paperwork there was an additional $750 rebate off the price!

What was x plan pricing onthe limited? Nada guides says invoice on 2013 limited 2wd with tailgate step and white paint is 46369. Interested when you expect delivery and wonder if i can get any dealers to get under the invoice on a special order?

The Limited might not get X-Plan pricing. I know some of the higher end and limited quantity vehicles, like the Raptor, do not qualify.
There are lots of good comments on this thread though. What I've found is a dealer claims they will beat x-plan and give me pricing both ways, only to find he has subtracted all sorts of rebates from 'his' price but none for the x-plan. So it looks like he beats the x-plan by $1000 but in reality I would pay more than x-plan minus rebates. Also they don't always show the added fees when they quote the price which bumps the final price even higher. On a truck sitting on the lot, I'm sure you can beat x-plan at times. On a special order, it would be difficult to beat x-plan after you subtract the rebates and take advantage of the limited add-on fees in the fine print.

With respect to Ford850's comments, I would just say that if you are paying attention, you should be able to keep it sorted out. I do think that you can get a better price than X-Plan without too much trouble, but he is correct to warn you to watch out for various fees that will put all that back on. But X-Plan is pretty good, and saves you a lot of hassle.
You should always ask about all fees, consider your final price, and do not let them add extra fees at the end. You can easily look up normal fees in your area, and be aware that most states have laws about how much dealers can charge for documentation and BS like that.

If you qualify for X-Plan, log into the Ford web site and build your vehicle. It will show you X-Plan price for a particular build. Further, the X-Plan site will tell you if a particular vehicle doesn't qualify, but this is uncommon, that is, most discount plans will only exclude extremely low production vehicles like the Cobra or GT500..
However, 2012 Harley Davidson version was available via X-Plan so I would expect the 2013 Limited to be available as well.
