Default X Plan pricing

I got a X plan price on a 14 Platinum Eco Screw with Max Tow and it seems high. $55890 MSRP, $51647 X plan price. Only $4243 off MSRP? They are also giving me $2250 in incentives so final price of $49397. That's only 11.6% total off MSRP. I don't think that's enough off and I wanted to see what others have gotten with X plan.
I may keep my Lariat after all.
Thanks,
SlickRick

Ordered XLT last week. Got about $3250 for x-plan and $3750 rebates. X-plan saves $400 on paper fees. $750 I got was from Brochure I asked for on the Ford website. I coulda got much better price by waiting till end of model year but wanted it just so.

You can go to the ford partners web site and build it and get the x-plan price.

At times you can actually get a better price without the x-plan. If possible check another dealer, and get a straight price just for comparison. Good luck.

Exclamation

Not sure what your "DEALER/DOC FEE" was, but x-plan caps fees at $100.

Or lookup your vehicle in their inventory and see the exact x-plan price.

I used x-plan back in 2012 for ease of use since I don't qualify for a-plan from family working in ford and needed to get something soon. I actually found it fairly reasonable, in all got just over 10k off with x-plan and rebates, dealer only charged a minimal amount for doc fees.

I don't doubt some good haggling could have gotten more, but putting in a factory specific truck order in March I did not feel there was much wiggle room and honestly thought the deal was plenty fair.

My sticker was 52ish and i paid 45ish with xplan. Not the best deal, but not bad considering no negotiation involved.

From my understanding (Dad is a Ford salaried retiree) the A/X/Z pricing is what it is. If two dealers give you different prices on identical vehicles, one of them is cheating. Cheating on free/discounted add-ins or inflated trade values is monitored and dealt with severely.

The discounts definitely aren't what they used to be. We bought a Freestar around 2003 and between public rebates, Z plan, and a private rebate certificate my dad had we saved over 33% off sticker. Sales guy's jaw about hit the floor and he was looking for more because it wasn't coming out of his commission.
