The whole Sport Appearance package is only $1095. That includes the grille, 20" wheels and tires, carpet and black running boards.

There must be a lot of markup in that grille.

That is sickening. Add in another $100-200 to paint it, and you're at $800-900 for a frickin plastic grille.

Don't know why people are surprised with the price, that's sounds right for a dealer price. They're about $500 on Ebay for the 6 bar fx style grilles. So $700 from a dealer isn't that far fetched.

And if your paying $1-200 for paint on these, your paint shop is taking you for a long ride.

I am not surprised that Ford is price gouging on a hot selling part. They have a long history of this with coil packs, supercharger oil, headlights and on and on.

Are you going to tell me that it cost over $200 dollars more to manufacture the 6 bar grille over the C clamp grille. There is probably no difference in manufacturing cost. I have no problem with making a little extra coin on a hot seller but doubling the price because you are the only game in town is exploiting your customers. Just sayin'.

Keepin' it real.

Also somewhat explains why a simple 15mph fender bender can result in thousands of dollars of repairs..

I corrected that for you. Everyone does not do this.

Selling parts was so lucrative they didn't begin to need government bailout money, lol.

I not picking on you. Just laughing with you. It is what it is.

I know Sears and Walmart do it too, but like you said, it is what it is

Supply and demand folks!

It's amazing to me how so many people are upset about this. This is how business works!

Well, at that price, that's one less thing to buy for my truck.
