I just saw a Ford commercial before the Mariner's game and this is what they were advertising as discounts and rebates on the 2014 XLT:
$3,500 in retail customer cash
$1,750 total cash bonus
$2,429 Dealer Discount
$2,750 discount the XLT package
That equals $10,429 just walking in the door and before even beginning to dicker on the truck.........I think that is the most I've ever seen advertised.
TV commercial incentive amount seems contrary to "official" FoMoCo site. Even if so, no doubt buying XLT trim would have been much less OTD cost than my new FX4...

Actually, with the Mariners being over .500 for the first time in years, and in the thick of the wild card race right now (yes, I know there are a lot of games to go), attendance at the games is WAY up over the last couple of years.

Same here! I got the Screw. And I got the 5.0. I also opted for the flip up/seat console, because I hated the cup holder placement for rear passengers, on the stationary console. It's right where my elbow sat.
My truck stickered for 43,455. Out the door for 32 after taxes and all that crap. Dealer installed leather, so I got to pick from the two shades of tan. Overall very happy with it! Pick it up Friday.

Congrats on the new ride! i traded in a 13 5.0 supercab for the 14 supercrew. The 5.0 is a sweet engine. I got the Eco to tow with... You are right that goofy cup holder is in the way of my arm. But I do like the deep storage this one has. its now full of junk lol
