Which Would You Go With?
Hi guys,
I ended up getting rid of my last F-150 (2013 Screw 6.5' bed XLT) when I moved to Hawaii. Having that big of a truck on a small island, just wasn't practical for me as I worked in the city. Long story short, I just moved to Texas and I'm in the market for another truck. That's where I need your input. Here are the options that I'm currently looking at:
Truck 1 - 2011 Screw 6.5' bed FX4 with the 5.0. This truck has everything with the exception of the upgraded sound system and touchscreen. Truck has 68,000 miles. Asking price is about $24k

Truck 2 - 2014 Screw 5.5' bed Platinum with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Truck is fully loaded with 64,000 miles. Asking price is about $28k

Truck 3 - 2012 Screw 5.5' bed FX4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Truck is a loaded FX4 with a whole bunch of aftermarket parts. Maybe the previous owner was/is a member on here. 61,000 miles. Asking price is $27.5k

Truck 4 - 2016 Screw 5.5' bed Lariat with the 3.5 Ecoboost (new). Truck is fully loaded. Asking price is $31k

There are things that I really like about trucks 1-3, but would I be crazy for not going with a heavily discounted 2016 Lariat with a full warranty?!
I copy and pasted links to each truck, hopefully they work.

Careful,
The 2016 has this in the description:
"
Seller Comments
***DISCLAIMER***
This vehicle has hail damage, price includes all necessary repairs to pass state inspection "
If it's good to go, and still has all of the same new truck warranty i'd probably still bite.

I bet they only fix what is needed to pass state inspections. Broken windshield, broken lights, I'm not sure what else would be needed but I dont think dents in the hood, roof, and doors will be fixed.

Five-0 Ret.
If done correctly hail damage can be fixed, and you'll never know it was repaired. I would suggest checking on price for hail repairs, and if it's within reason I say jump on the new one. At a 24K drop in price you have a lot of leeway for repairs. Good luck on your decision.

These trucks seem to be random. Are any of the features important to you? You've said "fully loaded" or similar on all four, but they aren't the same since those words don't really mean anything. Only the plat is loaded.
But that deal on the 2016 is killer.
