Default Would you?

I am looking at some 20 inch diamo karat 17 rims. The guy says they are 5 years ol but he only had them on the truck for 2 years and in storage for the rest. He said he will take $675, but I just looked online and I can get a new set for about $874. Would you buy the rims or get some new ones?

depends on condition. If theyre like new then hell ya, if theyre blemished then negotiate a reasonable price for the condition, if he wont budge keep looking

That's pretty pricey. For runs that have been used for two years he should only be asking half retail price. For $200 more you can get yourself brand spankin' new ones.

I agree with the first two posters........for that price, and if he won't come down a bit, I'd get new ones. Have you gone to see the used set yet?
If you DO have any problems with the new ones, the tire shop you might buy them from will stand behind them for you.

I haven't seen them yet, but I probably will this week. He said that 2 of the rims have some scratches from being in the mud. He said they could be buffed out. What do y'all think is a fair price?

Honestly you see rims that are brand new and only
Been open for a test fit and then removed already knocked down $200 in price, not scratched 2 yr old rims

I agree with the poster stating used items should be roughly 50% of retail at best. If there are decent shape and you like them, offer $400.

If he won't take 400 or 425, buy the new ones.
