I was responding to the original poster, who was concerned about the judgment incurred from lifting/leveling a 2wd truck. I don't know of anyplace that offers less than a 3" lift kit, and leveling more than 2" greatly increases the wear in the front ball joints.

When I bought my 2001 F150 Lariat 4x2 the previous owner had it leveled. I liked the look of it...when I added the bigger tires...it looked like a 4x4!
My new truck is a 2010 F150 XLT 4x4...and I am going to have it lvled...I do not like the slanted look....but that is just me...to each his own!

08 2wd here... i put a 3inch hell bent steel up front.. and it rides nose high...
i bought a 2wd becouse i have many 4wds and no need for a the extra wear and tear of a 4wd... but i had to have the front lifted to get onto some of my property without ripping my front valence off everytime i went onto the property... i love the nose high look... i have never seen another truck running nose high...lol i like very different looks

Of course, then the gas mileage suffers.
