Default Worst dealer ever

So if anyone has read any of the EPAS failure threads going around may have seen my posts about my truck being in the shop for 27 days waiting for a new front rack. Well after getting it back on the 30th of Jan I haven't had any issues. So today I just happened to take a look at my tires to see how they were wearing and noticed the insides of both front tires have only about 1/4 of what the outsides do!! They are wearing down quick! So obviously the "toe" is off on the alignment. Now when I picked it up on the 30th I asked about the alignment and they told me they couldn't get it on their machine due to my "oversized wheels". I said I don't have oversize wheels they are stock wheels that came on the truck I only changed the tires. They then told me they aligned it with a tape measure and were very positive they had it spot on and it would be good to go. I said alright that's fine cause I know for a fact you can do a good job with a tape measure if done correctly, so I just let it go. Well after seeing the wear this morning I went right up to the dealer and got the service manager out to look at the wear and told him I wanted the alignment corrected and I wanted to know what they are gonna do about my now chewed up tires due to their screw up. His response was "haha I don't know but that's not my problem"!! I was like are you ******* kidding me!!???? He then proceed to laugh some more throughout our convo about how he wasn't doing anything for me. He also tried telling me "we don't sell those wheels"! Seriously this guy is the biggest moron I know! The hubcap clearly says FORD right on it!!!

If the dealer doesn't have the machine or knowledge to correctly align my truck after replacing the front rack it's their job to find someone who can! Am I wrong?? I was blown out of the water over this guys response and filled with anger. Has anyone else experienced something this outrageous with a dealer before? I'm going back early next week to speak with the owner and if he won't comply then I will have no choice but to pursue them in small claims court cause I'm not paying for new Toyo MTs that were almost new because they can't do their job right!

Call 800-392-3673 (FORD) and tell them about it

It pretty clearly says to check and correct the toe after replacing the EPAS gear under the TSB

Got a call in this afternoon and documented a complaint against the dealer already. They of course have to get in contact with the dealer first and ask why they are getting my complaint. I'm calling the owner tomorrow to see what he's going to say and will hopefully be meeting with him early this next week.

I did read that too under the TSB and for anyone with any knowledge of mechanics they should know first hand that the alignment will be off after replacing the front rack. They just wanted to cut corners and cheap out instead of sending my truck 10 mins down the road to get professionally aligned.

For anyone in New York, NEVER go to for service or buy anything from Crossroad Ford in Ravena. Biggest joke of a dealership I've ever seen!

Somebody needs to start a thread about good and bad dealer experiences they've had.

I had one yesterday. But I didn't knock anyone out or burn the place down.

Had my trade-in appraised and they were nickel and diming me on everything with it. They stated I needed new tires and that it wasn't shifting right. When I had seen that they reduced my trade-in by $500 for "new tires," I stood up and walked out. I was quite pissed.

By the way, I am trying to purchase an F-150... However, yesterday was not my day for purchasing one.

Lol I've been there before! Had a dealer try telling me I needed new tires and they were gonna take a grand off the value for it. I looked online quick on my iPhone and found the tread depth specs and the whipped out a measuring tape. Left the sales manager speechless after showing him I was only 2/16ths of a inch short of the originally tread depth! Haha.

Take a look at http://www.dealerrater.com/

This is the place to put reviews of dealers, good and bad. I always check a dealer out on this site before I walk in their door.

This site just confirmed my first impression of Maloy Ford,Jasper Al as a place
to stay away from after I took a walk thru the place to decide whether or not
to use them for service. Thnaks for the site info.
