A word of warning, Pirelli Scorpion owners;
So i know the scorpions are a crappy tire, i knew that i would replace them before i bought the truck, however i didn't think they were this bad in the dirt. I had them in snow and with 4x4 they were fine, nothing to write home about but they got the job done. Until today that is.
I have a rather skinny driveway, and in order to comfortably fit the F150 and the Mustang side by side, i park the F150 with 2 wheels on the dirt. It rained a bit last night, turning this dirt a bit damp, but no problem for a truck, right?
Wrong. I got about 5 feet up my driveway, and got stuck. Literally stuck. One wheel on the paved driveway, one on the dirt is enough for these tires to give up. I didn't bother putting it in 4x4 and just parked in the driveway, but not before i managed to park the mustang in the exact spot the F150 got stuck. I will grab that picture later, for now i leave you with these. Guess i will be making a discounttiredirect purchase in the next few hours.
The whole picture, one tire was in the mud you see, one on pavement.
Apparently this is enough to get stuck in...
...
EDIT: Made it in the Mustang. haha.

Did you use the E-locker?? I'm not saying they are a great tire but in 4x4 or even with just the e-locker they've done pretty good.
With that said my toyo proxies were better than these and they are far from a mud tire, haha. They were on an AWD Silverado SS though.

I don't think you can lock the diff in 2wd though can you? Even so, i could of just thrown it in 4x4 but not the point.

You can lock the diff in 2WD, I do it all the time. Go to the truck apps screen, then the off road screen, and while in park on that screen click 'ok' and a bunch of descriptions for each function will show up
