Default It won't stop squeeking!

Any one else's seats squeek? My drivers side seat is squeeking anytime I hit a bump or shift my weight. Anyone have a fix for this or is it something I'm just going to have to live with?

I would try standing outside the truck next to the seat and shake it or do whatever to replicate this noisy, and try to pinpoint where it is. Then tighten everything or look for something rubbing.

My drivers side seat squeaks as well. I found that mine is the seat belt bracket that attaches to the seat. Whenever I shift around it grinds and squeaks.

I noticed it driving through the mountain roads having my weight slightly shift back and forth. I think it very well may be my seat belt bracket but then I also started to think maybe its the springs inside the seat?!

Grab the seat belt latch that is attached to the seat and move it forward and back and then side to side to see if it makes a grinding or squeak noise. It is grinding on something inside the seat (where it attaches or pivots).

Ditto. Mine is coming from inside the drivers side dash somewhere inside to the left of the steering column.

Sounds like a mouse or a bird.

My solution: Radio volume to "eleven"

Move the seat slightly forward or backward.

Lube the seat rails.

Bring it in to your dealer as there is a TSB on the subject.

Pick one of the above.

I just had the dealer fix mine coming from where you are describing. It was the center counsel latch. They just put some Vaseline on it and it seemed to work so far

I take it was just a little bit of vaseline..........

NOT a lot. We had a guy in college that keyed the side of my old F350 king ranch so my Fraternity Brothers and I covered his entire Honda Civic in Vaseline.....top to bottom, inside and out. Steering wheel, dash, seats, everything! Quite messy.................great memory!
