i had the exact same thing.. I may have gotten lucky, or maybe its voodoo, but mine went away.
when the wipers went on their own, right before they went back down to normal position, I turned them on the slowest setting, then turned them off again. now my wipers are off, and acting normal.
these trucks have minds of their own.

Mine did this about a year ago or so, only way to turn them off was to pull the fuse under the hood. they had to replace the entire multi function switch to fix it.
Hell mine truck has been riddled with electrical issues, been dead 9 times, had 5 batteries in it so far, replaced entire multi function switch, replaced electric brake vacuum pump, replaced entire rear sliding window assembly, replaced steering angle sensor, replaced entire electric, power steering rack, had to reflash tranny ECU, and other stuff I have forgot about..........................
