Wipers wont stop

Wipers wont stop
Today I turned on my wipers for a few minutes and when I turned them off they stayed on, on the longest delay setting. I turned off the truck for about 10 mins and on restart the wipers were still on. I disconnected the battery for about 15 mins as well and on restart the wipers were off, I turned them on again they wouldn't go off.

This is not the first issue with my truck. I've had IC issues, leaking shock on front driver side, back window leak that ruined the headliner (not yet fixed) and now this.
Are they really still making junk multi function switches?

A priest may be in order j/k. I haven't heard of this before. Definitely sounds like a faulty switch. Is there some sort of relay that controls the timing of the wipers in the fuse panel??
I don't know much about wiring. Wish I could be more helpful.

From what I've researched the multi function switch is what causes this usually on the older trucks have found nothing about trucks newer than 07. But this seems odd as if I flick the turn signal or spray the washer fluid they will stop sometimes.

I have the same problem. My wiper will just start running out of nowhere. I have a 2010 and have had a hard time finding any info on the late model systems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

any luck?
I'm having the same issue with my 2011. Was wondering if you fixed this, and if so, how? I can't find much about it, but from what I've found, it sounds like the multifunction switch. Thanks!

I had a jeep tj that would do that every winter when I would get extensive slush on the floor. This created lots of moisture that would get into the switch and the wipers would go full throttle until the swith dried out. Sometimes warming it up with a hair dryer would dry it out.
