Yeah WTF? My truck will make me breakfast and rub my feet but it won't tell me when I need washer fluid? Not Cool!

In the old days, I had vehicles with a low-fluid warning light - and it would light up when fluid sloshed away from the sensor. I had to keep that puppy more than half full or the light would blink at me. Given the aggressive use of Ford trucks these days, wouldn't a fluid-level-light be more of an annoyance than an assistance?

Well that's a disappointment. My 2007 Explorer had one. Ford taking a step backwards?

No, not really. They are taking many great steps forward. On things that are more important.

I agree they are taking many steps forward. But they also removed functionality. Functionality that comes standard on many lesser vehicles. Anyway, even though I check the fluids regularly and don't run out, I find it disappointing to learn that they didn't include something so simple as a fluid level sensor. Guess they were too busy on more important things like the instant mpg gauge or maybe the cool animations for the odometer and the off-road gauges. That little blue animated drive shaft really is useful.

In my opinion they should have included that sensor. My opinion.

Well my audi had it, my wife's acura mdx has it, and my honda ridgeline has it. I'm disappointed that Ford doesn't include it, I guess I may be in for many such disappointments perhaps....

Interesting. We have similar trucks and I have never gotten that. I always find out I am out of fluid when it stops squirting. I wonder what package that came with?
