Wow, run from that shop.I bought pre cut tint off ebay and tinted mine just fine in an hour and a half. Looks pro.NO bubbles. it's all about taking your time and prep, prep, and re prep. Cleaner the better. Anyway, it's simple and any reputable shop should be able to do it.If not they are a joke.

Pics are in my build thread if u care to see. been over a month now and they are still perfect, no bubbles etc.

He simply used NON amonia window cleaner, Lots of it, took a window scraper and covered the entire surface to make certain all was scraped clean and proceeded to generously apply more window cleaner then he washed and dried with cloth, applied a generous portion a film application solution and then squeege all of film from the center out. This was after aligning film with the top of the window.

No need to remove the Door Panels

Taking the door panels off is not an extreme issue. Some guys do it to get a real custom fit and dry it on site. That eliminates need to wait to roll the windows down.

The key is to keep film wet. I had mine done all the way around for $200 20%. Took an hour and looks great.

As far as removing the door panels thats my personal preference, it is a way better job. I've tinted windows for 17 years & took off every door panel.....never had someone come back for the tint peeling or door panels rattling. Door panels are meant to come off. Most vehicles window felt is very tight & not even attached to the door panel. I take everything off to ensure its clean & runs down past the felt & window weather stripping.

Ive seen way too many shops turn out crappy work

Some people pop off the door panels, no biggie.

I've got my mustang wrapped in 2% as of now, nice and dark

The guy I work for uses a company called SunTek I think. 3M makes a good tint too that you can get for relatively cheap on ebay.

Just please don't go and buy some of that cheap purple stuff, it looks hood as hell plus everything is purple outside lol.
