Video of Factory Door Code Location
I had just the time of my life finding this code. I went on multiple forums, watched videos, and finally found a post that led me in the right direction. I cant remember which one it was, sorry. But I did make a little video for those still looking. Hopefully I can help at least a few people!

Did you know about this:
Displaying the Factory Set Code
Note: You will need to have two programmed passive anti-theft keys for
this procedure.
To display the factory set code in the information display:
1. Insert a key into the ignition and turn the ignition on for a few
seconds.
2. Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
3. Insert the second key into the ignition and turn the ignition on.
The factory set code will display for a few seconds.
Note: The code may not display until after any other warning messages
first display.

When I had my 2012, I too was missing the code. Honestly never used it till a couple years of owner ship. The code card that came with the truck did not open the door, so figured there was something wrong with the keypad.
The procedure Spiky posted did not work on mine either. Found out about the hiding place like the OP's video. However, before anyone rips the truck apart, on mine the little code sticker was visible just by removing the fuse box panel door. There was no need to remove the rest of the panels. And yes that number did work, so apparently my truck came with a wrong card.

Just to On. That comes up a lot in modern vehicles with codes and procedures. It's always just to On. (or Run)
