Default Need help, how to plug in large molex driver side door

I can’t figure out to plug this molex back in short of removing the entrie door. If door is wide open then it covers the plug, partially closed and I can’t maneuver my hand to get the plug situated. Any help or would be appreciated. Garage is torn apart and sure the wife wants her car in before frost hits.

I finally got it, couple scrapes, lots of cursing, it’s in. Door has to be mostly closed, one hand in the door reaching through where the rubber grommet is and the other maneuvering it. Smaller hands will have better luck.

haha, yea I was about 30 seconds from saying screw it and lighting a match and walking away.

i said outload to myself, there’s no way Ford engineered it this way, there has to be some trick to this. Guess they used the D or maybe W line of engineers for that part.

For those wondering, this fixed my speaker cutting out, for now, until this one goes bad in a few years.

I seem to recall reading 2014 was the first year did this? if so even more Stupid. I may pull my dash at some point and cover it in leather, if so its getting new harnesses and the rubber connectors.
