Default Window tint, grande prairie AB

I want my front windows and windshield tinted. A place in GP quoted me $225 for the fronts. He said the only way to do te windshield was to remove it. $200 for window take out and re-install and a additional $250 to tint it. So $775 total to tint my front windows and windshield Is this too high? Anyone know of some shops around gp Dawson creek that will do the fronts or for a cheaper price?

I'm aware of the tint laws. I'm not looking to start a debate on wether it's legal or safe

I wouldn't do it, its illegal in Alberta, If you ever get pulled over the cops will make you scrape it off on the side of the road.

Also you can get some good Oakley's for like 1/4 of that price :P

Yea I know. I got a nice pair of shades already I live in a small town. The cops around here don't bother with tinted windows, they have better things to do

I got quoted from 100-120 from 3 different shops to tint both front doors in Edmonton. I never asked about the windshield

Cops cannot make you take it off on the side of the road only ticket you again and again. Also i have mine on in Alberta and have had em for over 10 years not a single comment or ticket.

That seems a lot more reasonable. I just need to find a place in the area that will do it

I took my tint off cuz I was getting hassled by the cops and I've seen the cops on the road to fort Mac make a guy peel his tint off

I've had my windshield tinted in every vehicle I've owned since 2009 and never been stopped for it. I got my windshield and front side windows done on my F150 for $120 and he sure as hell didn't have to take the windshield out to do it.

I pay 60$ to have my front 2 Match the rear. 200+ is rediculous in total never mind more than that!
