Default My radar mount

I took the radar mount from my Corvette I traded in and bent it to conform to my truck. Now I need to hardwire it, going to use my remote display for it.

That's a nice mount. It puts it up out of the way and hard to see from the outside. What does the part of the mount look like that attaches to the detector?

I use a Escort S2 SOLO wireless detector.

I don't have that blue tint on my '10.

I'm using the suction mount but that mount looks cool. I have the remote display in the left cubby hole in the center console.

This is what it looked like before I bent it.

How are you hardwiring it? Does your escort have that "smart cord" that has a mute button on the ciggarete plug?

I could go the Invisacord route but lose my remote display. I think I will end fishing a wire down the A pillar and tapping a source below somewhere.
