Will tow mirrors look funny
Hey guys well i've been thinking of buying tow mirrors but cant decide if they'll look funny on my truck. I know personally when i see F150's with them i'll think some will look funny while others look good so can you guys tell me wat u think my truck will look like with them

I put tow mirrors on mine cause they're made to make towing safer, not for making the truck look better.
but they look FABULOUS with the tall skinny E-rate lt michelins I put on, also for towing.

I was going to use the screw on extension mirrors from etrailer.com but then I decided to upgrade to the max tow package when I bought my truck a few weeeks ago. I think the huge dumdo mirrors look great. I'll be towing a 8.5 foot wide trailer on a daily basis so I needed something and spent the extra money and bought the max tow package.

They look funny IMO. Way out of proportion to the truck. They look like mirrors fit for a superduty. should be about 20% for the f150 with power extend and fold.

I respect everyone's opinion, but MY opinion is they are butt ugly. Wouldn't look so bad if the caps were PTM rather than black but even ..... meh!!!!!
If you are a frequent tower, I am sure they are very practical. Still, I think they just standout way too much.
Kinda look like oars sticking out of the water on a row boat......

I'd rather be sailing.
Besides being able to see when I tow, the big mirrors have an added benifit! Where I work there are a LOT of very crappy drivers that don't think twice about door dinging your rig. Same said drivers don't park near my truck with the dumbo ears!
Sitting here right now, just like almost everyday with my new truck, one side has trees and bushes as I park to protect it, the other side has an empty stall! My old 1998 F150 had dings from idiots who park so close! Same spot and same idiots!
I like this unexpected plus!

I think they look great compared to the normal mirrors, I love them. That convex mirror on the bottom completely eliminates blind spots. As for looking like mirrors fit for a super duty, there's as reason for that. They're the same mirrors that are on the super duty. the f150 is the same width as the super, which has made for a fun learning curve since I bought my truck I'm just glad the mirrors are powerfolding or else i could have been stuck a couple times cuz they sure do stick out there
