Default Will these headlights make my truck look sweet?

Ok, so I won some money in vegas and am planning a few mods and need your guys opinions seeing as how I swung and whiffed the first time around.

It's the same old cliche, I bought these things thinking that they were hid projectors but realized after the fact that they were for halogen lights and apparently they do not scream street cred like I thought they would

After doing some research I decided I am going to do a HID retrofit on my stock housings and before I go ahead and start I wanted to catch your guys thoughts in case I am about to whiff again. I am thinking about getting the setup at the top with the satin black housings like the first pic and blacking out the turn signal bucket like the second pic.

I wasn't sure how it would look so I opened up my current pos aftermarket headlights and blacked out all the buckets. You think the black headlights work on the truck and think that the retrofit package I am looking at will earn some respect on the street?

Can't beat a quality set of retrofitted heads using name brand high quality components. They will outperform Ford's OEM HIDs.

You'll love the retrofits, and blacked out will go well. Mine were very similar to that, and our truck schemes are about the same.

I actually am planning on doing the build myself. I plan to go with the morimoto mine stage 3 with the panomara shroud and white halo. I have opened up a couple of headlights now and feel good in my abilities to paint the housing, bezel, and shutter of the assembly. I just wanted to make sure that the design I was going with would be less "ricer" and more "badass".
